Ubersuggest has changed considerably since the old “7.0” version described in this article. In 2026 it is an all-in-one SEO platform covering keyword research, competitor analysis, site audits, rank tracking, backlink data, content gaps and newer AI-search visibility features.

What Ubersuggest does well
The product is designed to put several common SEO workflows in one interface. Current official pages highlight keyword ideas and intent, site audits, competitor research, rank tracking, backlinks, content-gap analysis and AI prompt or brand-visibility research.
For a small site owner, the main advantage is convenience. You can move from a domain overview to keyword ideas and basic technical issues without assembling several separate platforms.
Keyword research
Ubersuggest provides keyword suggestions, search-volume estimates, difficulty metrics, intent information and SERP analysis. Like all third-party keyword tools, these figures are estimates. They are useful for comparing opportunities, not for promising exact traffic.
Site audit
The site-audit section can surface crawlable technical issues and provides explanations intended for non-specialists. Treat the health score as a prioritization aid rather than a Google metric. A high tool score does not guarantee strong search performance.
Competitor and backlink data
Competitive estimates can reveal pages, topics and links worth investigating. They are most useful as leads for research. Third-party traffic estimates and backlink indexes will never perfectly reproduce another site’s private analytics or Google’s systems.
AI-search features
Ubersuggest now promotes features for researching prompts and monitoring brand visibility in AI search. That makes the platform broader than the product described in the 2019 version of this article. These features may be useful for experimentation, but they should complement rather than replace first-party search and analytics data.
Who is it for?
Ubersuggest makes most sense for independent site owners, small marketing teams and consultants who want common SEO workflows in one relatively approachable environment. Larger agencies with extensive crawling, reporting or enterprise data requirements may need more specialized tooling.
Use first-party data alongside it
Connect any third-party SEO research back to Search Console, analytics and the actual website. Ubersuggest can suggest where to look. Your own data determines whether the opportunity matters to your audience and business.
Bottom line
Ubersuggest in 2026 is no longer just a keyword suggestion tool. It is a broad SEO research platform with a relatively accessible workflow. Its strongest role is helping smaller teams organize research and prioritization, provided its estimates and proprietary scores are treated as models rather than facts.
